Magro presents his new album alongside with his band and rapper Rapturous. Get ready for an energizing night with heavy Hip Hop beats mixed with mesmerizing Jazz explorations.
Berlin-based drummer and producer Magro fuses jazz with hip-hop and RnB elements, creating a high-energy and innovative sound aesthetic. Together with his trio — Francesco Beccaro (bass), Martin Lüdicke (keys) — and rapper Rapturous, Magro has performed at numerous international festivals and venues, including Bimhuis Amsterdam, Ronnie Scott’s London, Jazzahead, and Jazz in the Park. Over the past years, he has released two albums and an EP, earning awards such as the German Jazz Prize. His third album is set to drop in November and features collaborations with Telemakus and Tom Ford. As both a drummer and producer, Magro has worked with artists including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow, The Rolling Stones Project, and Nightmares on Wax.

The event will be opened by Berlin’s upcoming fusion trio Al Dente. It’s dynamic interplay and vibrant vibe invites listeners to groove along to their infectious energy.
Turkish/German artist Sevdavision will flavor the evening with his DJ set. Over the years, he has collaborated with highly creative people from both areas the jazz and the electronic club scene. He has performed DJ sets at some of the most well known clubs in Germany. With world famous duo ÂME (Innervisions) and his own project PIED PLAT (Rush Hour/NL) he released succesful records besides working and recording as a pianist with magnificent musicians of the scene.
