She is also the founder of the project “Gueto pro Gueto Sistema de som”, valuing sound system culture. The artist has been part of the line-ups of different festivals, having also been praised by Billboard International.

Cigarra (Brazil/Portugal):
Cigarra is a DJ, performer, producer and label manager, participated in the effervescence of São Paulo’s underground scene as well as in the original formation of the Voodoohop Collective. For 15 years she has been exploring unique sets and, from this
experience, she creates her own sound cocoons.
He mixes live Brazilian rhythms and rhythms from different peripheries of the world,
together in a contiguous set of hypnotic and seductive frequencies, from global bass to downtempo. All its potential and its focus on female expression inspires a legion of women to sing in unison on your dance floor. Her speech and engagement also make her an important reference for the current Portuguese and Latin American underground electronic scene.
In his soundscapes and performance productions, Cigarra delves into the research of samples (plunderphonics and copyleft) revealing a popular, peripheral, contemporary, global culture as a thematic base and in the studies of concrete sounds extracted from the most diverse spaces to give new meaning to them musically.
