Statement der Band:

„Following Tuesday’s announcement, we have had to make the decision to postpone our European Tour.
There is uncertainty around restrictions on events and we still don’t know whether the shows will be allowed to go ahead. As an independent band with no financial backing, we simply can’t afford to risk the shows not happening. We’ve waited as long as possible before making this decision and it’s not one that we’ve taken lightly.

We’re absolutely gutted and deeply apologise to any travelling supporters and hope you can all appreciate how difficult this decision has been to make.

„Reyton“ ist nicht nur ein Bandname, es ist eine Bewegung der Menschen und steht im Yorkshire-Slang für ‚ein Guter‘. The Reytons sind schnell von Lokalhelden in ihrer Heimat South Yorkshire zu einem national bekannten Indie-Rock Namen aufgestiegen.

Allein durch Mundpropaganda schafften sie es während der Pandemie ihre erste UK-Tour auszuverkaufen. Der fast fußballerische Charakter der Band überträgt sich auf die Atmosphäre ihrer Gigs und findet sich wieder in Form von Sprechchören und Rufen. Seit ihrer Gründung 2017 haben die vier Sheffielder eine Armee an Fans gewonnen und jedes Publikum, vor dem sie je standen, mit ihrem straight-forward Indiesound zum Schwitzen zu bringen.
