Invisible Chonks is a progressive R&B band from Berlin, formed by the Argentinean keyboardist Dante Uccello and German drummer Ria Rother.
At first, the two met just to improvise and have fun over musical ideas.
Ideas that slowly but surely revealed what they really were: Puzzle pieces.
With the help and inspiration from the Israeli Bass player Ori Davidson and several singers -Joa Luna, Lucia Boffo, Koob. Dele- and others.Those pieces found their fitting places in songs, stories and sounds.
With influences from genre-bending bands like Hiatus Kaiyote and BBNG as well as Latin American composers like Hugo Fatorusso, Luis Alberto Spinetta and João Bosco, Invisible Chonks focus on expressing the story behind each of these songs, unafraid to mix musical styles or blend the simple with the complex. They always pay attention to the concept and the feeling they want to convey.
