With a golden-era glint and a 20-strong cast supporting, Brazilian hip-hop artist Laiz is bridging the gaps of jazz, tropicalia, Brazilian MPB and hip-hop, creating her own unique style encapsulated on her debut album for Agogo Records. Glowing with pan-African collaborations, cultural/political messages of Latin America and the support of a community of musicians from the Americas, Africa and Europe from her base in Germany, Laiz attempts to bring the sun and the streets of the south to the Jazz and Hip-Hop scene in Europe.
