Kaleo Sansaa is back with her mesmerizing and contagious sound; Sun-Drunk and Solar-Based Hip-Hop as she calls it. Her music is characterized by it’s playful experimentations with hip hop, afro pop and otherworldly genres yet to be discovered by humans.
Her Upcoming Album ‚CHII‘ aka Ubuchi (Honey) is a tribute to her Grandmother and to all Women* that have helped secure a safer more promising future for current generations of Women*.
After releasing two EPs Kaleo Sansaa released her debut album ‘Solarbased Kwing’ on March 2021. Her second Album CHII will follow in September 2023.
The critically acclaimed Artist has been nominated for a number of awards across Europe. In 2018 she won the award for Best Music Video at the Berlin Short Film Festival and was nominated for the POP NRW Award in 2019. With new album ‘Solarbased Kwing’, Kaleo Sansaa was featured by numerous German media including Musikexpress, Rosa Mag, WDR Cosmo, WDR 3 and Deutschlandfunk Kultur and many more. After gracing the stages of Pop Kultur, Dockville and Ruhrtrienale she supported Noga Erez, Alli Neumann and Nneka on Tour. In Winter 2023 she looks forward to headling her first Solo Tour.
